Indiana grants
- We partner with local organizations that share our mission.
- We award grants to address the needs of moms, babies and families.
- Our funding supports programs in communities throughout the state.
Working together to improve the health of moms and babies in our community
The Indiana Chapter Grant program includes Chapter Grant Awards and Division Community Awards. These awards fund organizations across the state in order to address unmet maternal and infant health needs.
These grants are another way that the March of Dimes pursues its mission of saving babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
Chapter Grant Awards are larger grants of $10,000 or more and are reviewed and awarded by the Indiana Chapter Program Services Committee. See a list of 2011 grantees and application information for 2012 Chapter Grant Awards here.
Division Community Awards requests are reviewed and awarded by Program Services Committee volunteers in the 7 Indiana Chapter Division offices. A list of offices and contact information is below.
About Division Community Awards
Like the Chapter Awards, Division Community Awards invest in priority projects that further the March of Dimes mission, support national and state objectives, and further our strategic goal of reducing disparities in birth outcomes. Proposals will be accepted from organizations with the capacity, competence and experience to accomplish project goals and objectives through one of the following strategies:
Increasing access to and quality of health care for women and infants
Increasing availability of prevention services
Increasing availability of genetics services and folic acid education
Projects interventions may be provider and/or consumer focused. Interventions must be provided within the local division's specified geographic area. Division offices and contact information for Division Community Awards:
