Helping moms and babies in Maryland and the National Capital Area
The March of Dimes uses gifts wisely and funds programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. Each year, we award grants to external organizations across our chapter to address unmet maternal and infant health needs.
Our community grants are one way the March of Dimes pursues its mission of saving babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. See our full list of past awards for an idea of the types of programs we fund.
Prior to completing an application for chapter grant funding, potential applicants must participate in a grant training call and inform us of your intent to apply.
Save the date: This year, the March of Dimes 2013 grant training calls were held June 28 and 29. Chapter Grants Conference Call Presentation (PDF)
