Deborah Durgin wins Nurse of The Year Award

MetroWest Medical Center Nurse Wins in Nurse Leader Category

Deborah has been a Maternal-Child RN at MetroWest Medical Center for the past 36 years. She is currently the manager for the Perinatal Department and the scope of  her practice encompasses Perinatology through Post-Partum car, as well as LD and a Level 2B nursery.  In 1988, Deborah  established the Metrowest Lactation Program, which has since thrived.  Her work has ben instrumental in MetroWest Medical receiving two Achievement Awards from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for its commitment to breast feeding.
