Missouri grants
- We partner with Missouri and Metro East organizations that share our mission.
- We award grants to address the needs of moms, babies and families.
- Our funding supports programs in communities Missouri and the Metro East.
What are the requirements to receive a grant?
Our grants and awards go to programs that address unmet medical needs for moms and babies in Missouri and the Metro East. Our funds typically go toward programs that focus on education and prevention, increasing access to prenatal care, or to research that focuses on preventing premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality.
What projects and programs have received grants?
The March of Dimes Missouri Chapter awarded three major grants for 2011.
What do I need to do to apply for a March of Dimes Missouri Chapter grant?
We award grants based on a number of criteria, including the group or organization’s ability to accomplish its goals.
We also award grants based on how effective the program may be in meeting the unmet needs of moms-to-be, such as increasing access to maternal and pediatric care and research that will further our ability to prevent premature births, birth defects and infant mortality.
We will be announcing specific criteria for 2013 grants later in the year on this page.
