Motorcyclists Gear Up to Help Babies
17th Annual Bikers for Babies Set for October 14th
St. Louis , Missouri, September 21, 2012 —More than 1,000 motorcycle enthusiasts are expected to take to the streets for the 17th Annual St. Louis Bikers for Babies on October 14, 2012 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Riders ranging from novice to veteran will choose from two rides – police escorted or self-guided – and share one important goal: helping babies.
FOX2 News Anchor Tom O’Neal and Bo Matthews from 92.3 WIL will serve as emcees. Registration gets underway at 9am and it’s “kickstands up” for the police-escorted ride at 12:30pm.
Participants are invited to come early for live entertainment by Acoustic Glitch, Trixie Delight and Superjam presented by Pure Evil Cycles. Also scheduled:

- Food Truck Alley
- Family Tent Area
- Stunt Riders and more!
All registered participants will receive a free lunch courtesy of Bandana's Bar-B-Q.
The event is expected to raise about $150,000 for March of Dimes. Nationwide, more than 35,000 people will participate in March of Dimes Bikers for Babies rides across the country.

Two Available Routes:
Departs at 12:30pm. Police-Escorted Ride will take the traditional highway route leaving and returning to the amphitheater – 63 miles.
Departs anytime between 10:00am and 3:00pm. Self-Guided Ride will have the option of taking the highway route or a back roads route. Self guided riders do not need to return to the amphitheater – 76 miles.
Rider/Passenger: $25 each ($30 day of the event)
