Working together to improve the health of moms and babies in our community
The March of Dimes North Dakota Chapter and our partner organizations are helping moms have healthier pregnancies and babies begin healthier lives. Below are some programs where our grants and awards are making a difference.
Custer Health, Mandan – to implement Coming of the Blessing and culturally appropriate prenatal education at Standing Rock Reservation.
Quentin N Burdick Healthcare Facility, Belcourt – for the purchase of March of Dimes health education material to be distributed by public health nurses to all pregnant clients.
Trinity Health, Minot – to cover speaker expenses at the 33rd Annual Perinatal and Women’s Health Symposium, an educational opportunity for clinical staff throughout ND.
Valley Health, Grand Forks – to bolster the Optimal Pregnancy Outcome Program, a primary prevention program designed to empower pregnant women to make informed healthy lifestyle choices for healthy babies.
