When your baby is born too soon

When your baby is born prematurely (before 37 completed weeks of pregnancy), you and your partner can feel worried and overwhelmed, especially if he is in a newborn intensive care unit (NICU), even for a short time.

Many premature babies need extra care in the NICU and at home. You might feel you have a lot to learn and understand about how to care for your baby and what to expect as the next year or so unfolds.
