Helping moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies
The Texas March of Dimes’ primary goal is to help babies start life in the healthiest way possible. Educating the public, especially moms-to-be on how to take care of themselves before, during and after pregnancy is a critical program component. Programs across the state include prenatal education classes and peer support groups.
We are a resource to hospitals, prenatal care providers, healthcare professionals and organizations committed to ensuring all babies are given the best opportunity for strong, healthy futures. Professional education series, grand rounds and current research are a few of the services we provide to our medical partners. In addition, grants are provided to researchers working to understand birth defects and premature birth and to find treatments and solutions.
Whether you are a woman thinking about having a baby, a doctor serving pregnant women, a grandmother whose grown daughter is pregnant…we all play a vital role in the health of the babies in Texas.
