Perinatal Nursing Education
 
Group Study

A group study must be facilitated by a qualified registered nurse and may occur as an in-service education program, a workshop or nursing grand rounds, or a portion of a larger conference or educational meeting.

To qualify for continuing education credit for group study, each participant must:
  1. Be a registered nurse or certified nurse-midwife.
  2. Purchase ($20) and read the module before the study. Nursing modules are $20 each; call (800) 367-6630 or (770) 280-4115 outside the U.S. to order. Orders over $500 are eligible for a 10 percent discount; e-mail profed@marchofdimes.com or call (914) 997-4609 for more information. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  3. Attend/Participate in the study.
  4. Provide first and last name and mailing address to the facilitator.


The facilitator must:

  1. Be a registered nurse or certified nurse-midwife.
  2. Arrange time and location for the group study.
  3. Facilitate discussion on module content.
  4. Register to enter the group study by sending an e-mail to certificate@marchofdimes.com with your name, organization, mailing address and telephone number.
  5. Register the study and participants and print certificates of completion online at the Nursing Module Certificate Center. A confirmation e-mail will provide the center's Web address. Required registration information includes module title, study date, study location, facilitator and participant names and addresses.
  6. Distribute certificates of completion to participants.
