    Prematurity Prevention Symposium

    Examining National, State, Clinical and Community Efforts

    Date: January 19 to 20, 2012

    Location: Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington, D.C.

    Register for the Prematurity Prevention Symposium, an opportunity to:
    • Meet key opinion leaders
    • Showcase successful prevention programs
    • Share best practices
    • Engage in problem solving
    The event also will launch the Prematurity Prevention Network, a coalition of individuals and organizations dedicated to promoting prematurity prevention.

    Health care providers, health insurers, policy makers, health purchasers, regulators, public health practitioners and concerned citizens are encouraged to attend.

    Call for abstracts
    Abstracts will be accepted for a Poster Session at the 2012 Prematurity Prevention Symposium. We seek to feature programs, collaborations and other activities that promote the prevention of preterm births. To submit an abstract for the 2012 symposium poster session, please complete the application form and email it to symposium@marchofdimes.com.

    Organizers and supporters
    The Prematurity Prevention Symposium is organized by the March of Dimes in collaboration with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) and Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
