Hello Family Teams,

My name is Melissa Caldwell and I am the Family Teams Specialist for the Rhode Island March of Dimes Chapter. In 2007, my daughter was born 16 weeks early, weighing 1lb, 1oz. She fought her way through 122 days at the NICU and is now doing well as a toddler.  We are so grateful to have her in our lives. I feel very strongly about the March of Dimes’ mission because of the help that my daughter received from many years of medical research that were funded by the March of Dimes thanks to people like you!

As a Family Teams Specialist, I am responsible for developing statewide fundraising efforts among our Family Teams for March for Babies, to help ensure that all babies have a healthy start in life.

The next Rhode Island March for Babies walk will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Colt State Park in Bristol. If you would like to form a family team, please log on to http://www.marchforbabies.com/ to get started today! If you would like to be part of our Family Teams March for Babies planning group or have a question, please e-mail me.

Thanks for all of your support!

Sincerely,

Melissa P. Caldwell
