NEW Grand Rounds Educational Opportunity

The primary purpose of the grand rounds program is to provide continuing education for perinatal health care providers on topics relevant to the March of Dimes mission: prevention of infant mortality, birth defects and preterm birth. Grand rounds strengthen the relationship between local March of Dimes chapters and the medical, nursing and public health communities. 

The Georgia-Carolina Association of Neonatal Nurses in collaboration with the South Carolina and Georgia Chapters of the March Dimes is hosting a nursing grand rounds on December 9, 2009. The event will be held in Aiken, SC from 9:30am-2:00pm.Cathy H. Ivory, RNC-OB, MSN the Corporate Director of Women's Services at Mountain States Health Alliance in Johnson City, Tennessee will be leading the session on assessment of the late preterm infant.
