As a member of the Greenville Community, you will hear how you can support the March of Dimes mission of research, advocacy, community service, and education as they strive to solve the growing crisis of premature birth and infant mortality. One in 8 babies is born prematurely, this silent epidemic is greater than the polio epidemic that launched the March of Dimes in 1938 and is comparable to the number of women stricken by breast cancer. The impact upon our families, health care and education systems, quality of life and businesses is severe.

 Significant accomplishments have been made in the care and survival rate of newborns due to the March of Dimes. We invite you to help continue this critical work by joining the March of Dimes efforts to give every baby in South Carolina an opportunity to be born healthy.
