Publix and March of Dimes team up for healthier babies during an annual campaign (usually in March and April). Events, activities and the sales of paper tennis shoes add up to lots of fun for customers and associates, and a big donation to March of Dimes. The campaign wraps up with WalkAmerica, March of Dimes largest fund-raiser. The walk takes place in more than 1,000 communities nationwide, and wherever there's a Publix store, there are bound to be teams of associates lacing up their walking shoes for the cause.
