| Greenville, SC – Real Estate professionals throughout the Upstate and beyond will gather to honor Mr. Jim Anthony, as the March of Dimes presents its Annual Real Estate Award. The event will be held on October 14, 2008 at the Embassy Suites.
Coffee and networking will begin at 7 a.m.; the breakfast and program will commence at 7:30 a.m. In addition to the award presentation, there will be some "roasting and toasting" of Jim.
Tickets for the event are $175.00 each; corporate tables begin at $1500.00. Jim Anthony, CEO and Founder of the Cliffs Communities was chosen for this award because of his success in the development of Greenville County, his outstanding leadership within the real estate community, and his outstanding citizenship.
The Real Estate Award was established in 1998 by the South Carolina Chapter of the March of Dimes to honor a member of the real estate community who has demonstrated a long history of service; recipients are chosen for their outstanding leadership and vision in the community. Past recipients include Bob Hughes, Walt Brashier, Champ Covington, Doug Harper, Dan Joyner, Bo Aughtry, Frank Halter, Mike McNicholas, Tommy Thomason and Nancy Whitworth.

The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies, and in 2003 launched a campaign to address the increasing rate of premature birth.
