Premature Birth Campaign in South Carolina

Premature birth is the leading cause of death among newborns in South Carolina. Babies born too soon and too small struggle to survive the first few weeks and months of life. In South Carolina, 168 babies are born too soon every week. The March of Dimes launched a campaign in 2003 to tackle this problem facing our state's and our nation's babies.
