TITLE: Division Director

REPORTS TO: State Director

LOCATION: Hyannis, MA Southeast Division

REASON FOR OPENING: Replacement

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Division Director has overall accountability for the management of all Division staff and coordination with volunteers in the implementation of Foundation policies and programs.

 



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •  Plan and execute fundraising activities.
  •  Recruit and train division Board volunteers; develop and manage Boards.  
  •  Manage division committees. 
  •  Control and maintain accounting records of the division.
  •  Prepare and administers division budget.
  •  Provide organization visibility through public relations and promotional efforts. 
  •  Develop and effectively implement community service and educational programs.  
  •  Manage and maintain all divisional records. 
  •  Secure sponsorship base for fundraising events. 
  •  Manage division office and all activities, including recruitment and staff assignments.

 



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •  A minimum of  4-6  years experience as a fundraiser or similar position in a not-for-profit organization with emphasis on fundraising, community organization, program and volunteer development.
  •  4-6  years of management experience.
  •  Outstanding leadership, interpersonal and team building skills
  •  Experience dealing with government, civic, business leaders and media in the community.
  •  Familiarity with health and social service programs
     Ability to assume independent responsibility, takes initiative, and manage numerous responsibilities simultaneously.
  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate Foundation mission to diverse constituencies:
