Announcing our New Family Team Chair for the South Dakota Chapter of the March of Dimes!

We are excited to announce that we have recently named Lisa Shatswell of Brookings, SD as our new Family Team Chair. As a Family Team Chair Lisa will be in charge of keeping Family Teams connected across the state of South Dakota via email correspondence, conference calls, and summer picnics. Lisa will also be recruiting new family teams, exploring family team sponsorship opportunities, and working with our corporate partners and volunteers to grow the March for Babies revenue across the state of South Dakota. This is a great opportunity to increase the March of Dimes mission and programs in South Dakota. Lisa has lead a successful family team, Landon’s Angels, since 2006. She started participating in March for Babies in Sioux City, IA and has been with the Brookings walk for 5 years now, raising over $6,000 for South Dakota Babies.  Lisa is married to Bryan and is the mother of 3 sons. She works at Daktronics.

Lisa is passionate about working towards the day when all babies are born healthy.  We are honored to have such a dedicated and committed volunteer on our team!
