On November 5th and 6th, the March of Dimes partnered with the Metro Public Health Department and Project Blossom for the an annual conference entitled Project Blossom: A Blueprint for a Healthy Future. Our keynote speaker was Michael Lu, MD, MS, MPH who discussed how maternal child health professionals can build the case for the life course perspective in the work that we do.
Dr. Michael Lu, MD, MS, MPH is an associate professor of Obstetrics and gynecology and public health at UCLA. He received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, his master’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and his medical degree from the University of California at San Francisco. His residency training in obstetrics and gynecology was at the University of California at Irvine.
