This is the event for you.  Through the collaborative efforts of many volunteers, the generous donation of the Governor’s Club Golf Course for the day and many vendors, there is now an event not only fun and rewarding as well as an opportunity to network with a bit of spirited competition involved.

4:30pm– 5:30pm Happy Hour & Award Recognition for the Player Raising the Highest Level of Pledges

Tickets & Sponsorship: • The event is designed in the truest fashion of a Walk-A-Thon. 
• Each player registers and makes a pledge level commitment.
• He/She reaches out to his colleagues who might share the enthusiasm in the mission of helping babies in the interest of gaining their pledges to support the day of golf and raising money for the March of Dimes.
• The player secures his/her own caddy.
• On Nov 9, 2009, pledge monies are turned into the March of Dimes (MOD) by the end of play.
• A prize will be given to the player raising the most revenue to support the MOD mission and work.
• Players, caddies and volunteers enjoy a brief happy hour and relax in the great work and fun accomplished.
 

Player Responsibility & Provisions
• Maximum numbers of players will be 30.
• Each participant is challenged to raise a minimum of $2K in pledges.
• Play will include as many holes of golf they choose at the event.
• Golfers may either play solo or play in twosomes.
• Golfers can provide their caddy of choice to help provide course maintenance and encouraged to let her/him play a few holes to afford the participant a break in play.
• Carts will be provided for each golf participant and caddy.
• Goody bags will be provided for each golf participant and caddy.
