Supporting Families in the NICU

| The March of Dimes Tennessee Chapter is pleased to have a program designed to support families with a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The NICU Family Support is part of the March of Dimes Prematurity Campaign.
NICU Family Support
NICU Family Support is a comprehensive set of services aimed at 1) providing information and comfort to NICU families during the NICU hospitalization of their newborn during the transition home, and in the event of a newborn death; 2) contributing the NICU staff professional development; and 3) promoting the philosophy of family-centered-care through the NICU.
Each NICU Family Support Package consists of two components:
1) a March of Dimes NICU Family Support Information System
2) NICU Staff Professional Development
