Teddy Bear Den
The March of Dimes Teddy Bear Den is a community-based, prenatal health promotion program for low-income pregnant women. Women on the program earn points for each prenatal and well baby visit, attending prenatal education classes, getting immunizations and for practicing healthy behaviors during and after pregnancy. Women spend their points on baby clothes, diapers and other baby care item in the Teddy Bear Den store. In this way, the program encourages women to take good care of themselves and to do things that will help them have a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Host a Community Baby Shower
The March of Dimes relies on donations by businesses, schools, chucrh and other community groups to stock the Teddy Bear Den and provide essential items to pregnant and parenting moms in need. Donated items help alleviate the significant financial burdens placed on low-income pregnant and parenting women by providing them with the baby care items they could not otherwise afford.
