                     Conference presented by:

The purpose of this conference for physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors and other health care professionals is to enhance current knowledge in the treatment and management of the perinatal patient.

Conference Purpose

The purpose of this conference for physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors and other health care professionals is to enhance current knowledge in the treatment and management of the perinatal patient.

Continuing Education

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDIT:

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) through the joint sponsorship of Driscoll Children's Hospital and March of Dimes - Texas Chapter. Driscoll Children's Hospital is accredited by TMA to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Driscoll Children's Hospital designates this educational activity for a maximum of eleven point five (11.5) category 1 credits towards the AMA Physicians' Recognition Award. Each Physician should claim only those credits he/she actually spent in the activity.

The presentation, the March of Dimes Texas Perinatal Conference has been designated by Driscoll Children's Hospital one (1) hour of education in medical ethics and/or professional responsibility.

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT CONTINUING NURSING EDUCATION CREDIT:

Driscoll Children's Hospital provides 14.4 contact hours for the attendance of this conference in its entirety.

Driscoll Children's Hospital is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward relicensure as established by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT SOCIAL WORKER’S CREDIT:
