In an effort to increase awareness of the crisis of prematurity in Texas, the March of Dimes lit the Governor’s Mansion for a second year on National Prematurity Awareness Day. Families from around Austin and legislative staff gathered at the mansion to count-down the lighting on November 14, 2006. It was a fantastic evening that was used to celebrate and commemorate those who have been touched by the mission of the March of Dimes.
