March of Dimes Gala Returns with New Chefs, New Flavors and a New Venue at the Gunter  

SAN ANTONIO – Once again the March of Dimes has rounded up San Antonio’s culinary stars for an evening of food, fabulous prizes and more food. 21 of San Antonio’s finest chefs will reunite at The Sheraton Gunter Hotel on Sunday, November 7th for the annual March of Dimes gala, Star Chefs of San Antonio 2004.

This year’s theme, Four Seasons, challenges each chef to create dishes that reflect winter, spring, summer and fall culinary delights. Hosted by Ed Tijerina of the San Antonio Express-News, the evening opens with a tour of the chef’s stations. Guests can sample the chef’s creations while enjoying live music and perusing the silent auction selections of fine art, rare wines, exciting getaways and more. From there, the real party begins when guests are invited to bid on unbelievable live auction packages designed by the chefs themselves. All funds raised during the Star Chefs of San Antonio 2004 gala will go towards supporting the March of Dimes mission of saving babies from birth defects and infant mortality.
