AUSTIN’S TOP CHEFS HELP SAVE BABIES
22 Chefs Participate in Star Chefs of Austin “Glamorous ’50s Gala” Benefiting the March of Dimes
AUSTIN – Twenty-two of Austin’s finest chefs will donate talent, time, food and one-of-a-kind auction packages at the Star Chefs of Austin “Glamorous ’50s Gala,” Sunday, October 24, at 6 p.m., at the Four Seasons Hotel. Funds raised during the event will go towards supporting the March of Dimes mission of saving babies from birth defects and infant mortality.
The 22 participating chefs, representing 19 restaurants and catering companies are:

The evening will start off with guests sampling delectable dishes prepared by the chefs and bidding on exquisite gifts in the silent auction. Once guests are seated for the live auction, Pastry Chefs Tony Sansalone and Mark Chapman will light up the night with a special ’50s-inspired dessert.
The live auction is always exciting and big surprises are in store this year. Once again, the Star Chefs are generously designing and donating unique food and travel packages that are sure to generate lively bidding wars between guests. To complete the “Glamorous ’50s” theme, guests will end the night by dancing to the big band sounds of Mr. Fabulous and the Casino Royale.

The March of Dimes is a national, volunteer-led, health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality.
