    March of Dimes March of Dimes

    The March of Dimes NICU Family Support Program provides information and comfort to families who are coping with the experience of having a baby in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). NICU Family Support complements and enhances family-centered care practices in partner hospitals, addresses the needs of parents, sibling, and extended family, and provides professional development to NICU staff.

    As part of the comfort provided to bereaved families, the Ford and Teagan’s Hope Necklace Program provides a sterling silver heart pendant for mom’s who lose a pregnancy or an infant in the NICU and Labor Delivery departments at University Medical Center Brackenridge and Seton Medical Center Austin. This necklace is especially designed for the NICU Family Support Program and is supported by the Fitzgerald family. In addition, each family also receives a beautiful memory box to collect special mementos and March of Dimes bereavement materials.

    Each gift is 100% tax deductible and dedicated to the NICU Family Support Program in Austin, Texas.
