The Virginia Chapter thanks you for your generous support of time and donations to help make WalkAmerica 2007 a great success. This year, Virginians and their countless contacts gave thousands of hours and raised more than $2.4 million to strengthen the mission for a healthy birth for all babies.

Although we count the spring season successful, we have not made our budgeted goals.  As we express appreciation and continue to add incoming contributions, prematurity and special needs babies are increasing.  Therefore, we need your help again.

On-line fundraising has proven to be efficient and rewarding. In recognition of  November 13th  Prematurity Awareness Day, we ask for your participation in a two-week on-line fundraising campaign.

The Prematurity Awareness Campaign will run November 1-15, and you can use your establish WalkAmerica.org page or create a new one. The fall campaign is an opportunity to remember or honor someone special or request a contribution instead of a holiday remembrance. The campaign is also a reminder to family and friends that your dedication to the March of Dimes is a year around commitment.

More information and an incentive plan to make the campaign fun and challenging will available at the end of the summer.
