| Seattle, WA - For the fourth consecutive year, Farmers Insurance Group will champion “Be a Hero for Babies Day” on Wednesday, July 22, aiming to raise money for March of Dimes education and research programs to help moms have full term pregnancies and healthy babies.
Throughout the state, Farmers agents are holding golf tournaments, garage and bake sales, car washes, softball games and other fun events with a goal of raising $108,000 in Washington.
Last year, Farmers raised $3.2 million nationally in an historic one-day fundraising effort, exceeding their goal. The public can make a donation to this year’s Be A Hero for Babies by visiting their local Farmers agent’s office or by going to marchofdimes.com/farmers. Farmers will match all online donations up to $250,000.
