Through programs and services in communities across Washington, we promote healthy pregnancies and babies, and work to prevent premature birth and birth defects. We educate moms and support families in need.
NICU Family Support
The hospital-based NICU Family Support® program provides information and comfort to families during the NICU hospitalization of their newborn, during the transition home, and in the event of a newborn death; contributes to NICU staff professional development; and promotes the philosophy of family-centered care in NICUs. The March of Dimes Washington Chapter awards grants to organizations across the state to meet the urgent needs of babies and families. Learn about the initiatives we’re supporting and how you can help give babies a strong, healthy future. Request for proposals for 2013 are now available.
