MARCH OF DIMES WELCOMES NEW STAFF MEMBER
(West Allis, WI, September 24, 2007) –The March of Dimes is pleased to announce Babette A. Honoré of Milwaukee as the new State Director of Wisconsin. As State Director Babette is responsible for overall accountability for the management of all chapter staff and coordination with volunteers in the implementation of Foundations polices and programs. Along with those responsibilities she will also maintain and work closely with regional and national staff, plan and implement fundraising campaigns and administer all chapter functions for staff.
Prior to joining the March of Dimes, Babette was an Assistant Director for Market Development with Northwestern Mutual of Milwaukee, where she led efforts to target multicultural/emerging market segments; increase sales and build strong relationships. Prior to that she was the Emerging Market Development Manager for American Family Insurance in Madison, where she was responsible for their strategic planning, marketing, recruiting and developing/implementing a new training design for their agents as their Field Development Manager. Babette brings over twenty-five years of successful marketing, communications and marketing management to the March of Dimes.
Babette is very excited about her new position and is very aware of and touched by the March of Dimes mission.
The March of Dimes in a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies.
