TITLE: Office Services Intern
REPORTS TO: Office Manager
LOCATION: West Allis, Wisconsin
REASON FOR OPENING: New Position
POSITION PURPOSE:
Assist with the day to day operations of the chapter office and provide administrative support to senior staff, ensuring that administrative and clerical responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide secretarial support, such as typing, photocopying, filing, collating, drafting correspondence, and general office assistance
Enter data into chapter databases and manage fiscal independent records, including but not limited to CWMS, VDEM, Access, and Excel
Handle receptionist responsibilities: answer and route telephone calls, take messages, greet visitors, fulfill requests for information and pamphlet distribution, etc.
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Organize and maintain the chapters central filing system
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Previous secretary or administrative assistant experience preferred
High school diploma
Good organization skills and able to manage multiple tasks while remaining flexible and calm
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of Windows 98 operating systems, Microsoft Office Professional, Internet, and e-mail.
Previous experience with the March of Dimes a plus.
