The Fragile Beginnings program of Jewish Family & Children's Service and the Massachusetts chapter of the March of Dimes are delighted to be co-sponsoring The Journey Through Prematurity: From the NICU to Early Childhood, a conference for any parent who had a baby born prematurely.
The morning's program will include a panel of preemie parents discussing where they have found the most hope in their journey through prematurity. It will also feature Kasey Mathews, speaking about the ways that her life changed and her expectations were shattered after giving birth to a one-pound, 11-ounce daughter four months early. The program will end with an open group discussion for attendees to share thoughts, stories, and encouragement.
All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Kasey Mathew's book Preemie.
There is no cost to attend this conference, but registration is required. Infants in arms welcome. Please share this information with any preemie parents you know. If you have any questions, contact Peggy Kaufman, Director of the JF&CS Center for Early Relationship Support®.
There is ample free parking available. Light lunch provided.
