The Real Estate Award was established in 1998 by the South Carolina Chapter of the March of Dimes to honor a member of the community who has demonstrated a long history of service and had made an impact on the economic development of their community. Recipients are chosen for their outstanding leadership and vision in the community.
Not only does the Real Estate Award raise money and awareness for the March of Dimes lifesaving mission of fighting for babies, but it also gives the real estate community a unique opportunity to network with associates from throughout the area. The Real Estate Award Committee, comprising of past honorees, chooses the honoree.
Real Estate professionals throughout the Lowcountry will gather to honor Dr. Ray Greenberg, as the March of Dimes presents its Annual Real Estate Award on November 29, 2012.
Dr. Greenberg, president of the Medical University of South Carolina, was chosen by Mayor Joseph P. Riley for this award for his significant impact on Real Estate and Development in Charleston through the development of the MUSC campus and for his outstanding leadership and citizenship in the Charleston area.
